Our design for the Fruli Bistro was inspired by the company itself and the philosophy of its founders, who approached us. Fruli is a family business, focusing on the handmade production of syrups, interesting chocolates, cakes, and other dishes. All their products are handmade, made from fresh ingredients, without the use of any added substances. Therefore our aim was to create a space, without any unnecessary decorations that will celebrate the rawness and the original and pure form of the chosen materials and their textures. The interior features dominants, such as a living tree, a luxfer wall, or stair seating, through which we tried to  expand the street scape into the interior of the bistro. The designed luxfer wall not only ensures enough privacy in the kitchen but at the same time allows daylight to flow into the space and thus creates more pleasant working conditions. Instead of unnecessary additional decorations, we filled the interior with greenery, which not only has a positive effect on the psyche of visitors and staff, but also contributes to air quality and supports our efforts to expand the exterior street space into the interior of the cafe.
