Where retail meets art gallery experience
Moliere store is a young up-and-coming Czech men's clothing and accessories brand. The investor's unconventional approach to fashion and to clients clearly demanded a creative and unique interior for their first brick-and-mortar store. Our intention was to turn the act of shopping into a social event. We wanted to ensure that the customers from the store did not only take away a new piece of clothing but also an unexpected experience. Think shopping meets art gallery. All products are framed and hung on walls as works of art. Dramatic spotlight lighting from the ceiling enhances the gallery atmosphere and draws attention to the pieces on display. The central dominant of the space became a custom-designed chandelier made of 41 light bulbs suspended in a geometric grid from a square platform. Accessories and shoes are displayed on block pedestals with a surface made of concrete screeds, which again refers to the gallery theme.
